Brand New Makeover!

Sorry guys, I have not had the time to update the blog lately. We have been extremely busy since the new year, even though it is SUPPOSED to be our slow season, lol. We have lots of exciting new things in store, all of which will be coming soon! We are completely making over everything within the business, and along with it will be lots of contests, prizes, and free items! We are finishing up our new website, with a brand new look! It is so exciting, I cannot wait to show you what we have been up to. We have not had a chance to update the old site, but we have lots of new images to show you, so stick around and keep checking back. The new us will be back soon! Thank you all for your patience during this busy time for us!

TIME FOR CHRISTMAS PORTRAITS!

Well, it is finally November, which means that we are holding our Christmas Special throughout the duration of the month. Remember, you receive 50% off of your studio session fee, or 10% off of your location session fee. We are also discounting our CUSTOM CHRISTMAS CARDS 25% through November! We know that the economy is tight right now, and what better gift to give than family portraits? We also carry many photo gifts, such as coasters, frames, key chains, mugs, lots of kitchen items, FatHeads, mousepads, clothing, blankets, crystals, and more. You must make your appointment during the month of November to receive the discounts, and by December 5th overall in order to receive any Christmas Cards by December 15th. Sessions are limited, so call today to make your appointment! Remember, we also offer gift certificates, and those can be great gifts as well!

NEWBORN PORTRAITS...

A few weeks ago we had a client come up from Texas to do newborn portraits of her twin girls, Kylie and Brooklynn. They were so sweet, it was hard to let them go home. We had a great experience in the studio though; they slept most of the time and did great under the lights and camera! Here are a couple of the final images from their session.

MORE SENIORS...

As October came to a close, I finally had a free moment to come and add a few more senior images. These kids have been great, all were a pleasure to work with, and we had so much fun!

This is Erin again, and just one of the images I completed with her and the hay bales... She was absolutely beautiful!

This gorgeous young man is Justin, another senior from Holdenville. He wanted something showing his love for riding 4-wheelers, and we got some awesome shots of him doing just that. Check out the collage with him jumping, it was so exciting to watch and photograph!

This is Daniel, and he wanted something simple that showed his love for football and the outdoors. He is very involved in 4-H, hunting, and riding his new motorcycle. He is also one of our ambassadors, and did a great job!

SUNNY ARIZONA, HERE WE COME!

We are excited to be taking a much needed vacation in January, 2009. It will not be all play, no work though, as we will be attending the annual Imaging USA Convention for professional photographers world-wide. This year the convention is in Phoenix, Arizona, so we will hopefully be enjoying some sun while it is cold and nasty here in good ol' Oklahoma. Our studio will be closed from Tuesday, January 6th, and we will be opening again on Friday, January 16th. While we are away, we will be attending numerous seminars and events, and meeting tons of new people, including the one and only Anne Geddes! I am sure everyone is familiar with her work in some way, and she is amazing! We only hope to learn fabulous things from her while we are in sunny, AZ! Wish us luck!

OCTOBER HAPPENINGS...

Well it is finally October, and this month is going to be filled with all kinds of deals for you and your family! Our special this month is "Fall Leaves", perfect for family portraits. Remember, if you book your session to meet the theme for the month you will receive 50% off your studio session fee or 10% off your on-location session fee, and 10% off your order! So this is a perfect time to get those Family Portraits in before Christmas, just in time to send out for Christmas cards. If you want a Christmas theme for your Christmas cards, don't worry, our November theme is "Christmas", and you will get your order back in plenty of time to send copies out to friends and family.

Also this month, October 4th we will be doing ACTION SHOTS and Individual Portraits with a Western Theme during the Stick Horse Rodeo, at the Fall Festival. We will be located by the backstop at Stroup Park in Holdenville. The contest for the rodeo is for ages 3-10, but dress your little one up, or even yourselves, and come get your portrait made, we will be shooting people of all ages!

Later in the month we also have the Sorghum Days festival in Wewoka, where we will also be roaming the streets, and we will have something going on there as well, although at this time we have not sorted out all the details, so we will update later.

On the 12th, we are taking a road trip down "Talamina Drive" in Eastern Oklahoma. It is a breathtaking site to see when the leaves are turning, and driving along tree-lined Highway 1 from just east of McAlester all the way to Mena, Arkansas. We plan on getting several shots to convert to backgrounds with our Scene Machine, to give us many more options with fall colors in the future. I will be sure to post images from the trip soon though, just so you see how amazing it is.

2008 SENIORS

Well, we know that we haven't updated in a long time, but we found a few extra minutes to finally do so. We have been very busy lately with football, cheer leading, engagements, and of course, SENIORS! Here are a few samples:
This is Ben, a senior at Holdenville. He is a part of our Senior Ambassador Program, and we used his talents on his many guitars in his Creative Session. We also did an Urban Session, and a few of those images will be posted soon.

This is Erin, a senior at Calvin. I have known her since she was born, and she was gorgeous in her Urban Session! She even allowed me to incorporate her mom into some of the shots. A nice touch I thought, since they are so close!
